Handmade Variations

Ceramic variation

• Glaze tone can shift slightly between kiln loads.
• Hand-applied marbling, speckling, brushwork, or pattern placement will not be perfectly identical from piece to piece.
• Small differences in height, diameter, wall thickness, or angle can occur within normal handmade tolerances.
• Tiny pinholes, glaze pooling, kiln marks, or unglazed contact points on the base can occur when they do not affect safe intended use.

Wood variation

• Wood grain, knots, tone, and figure naturally vary.
• Color can change slightly with lighting, finishing, and age.
• Hand sanding and assembly may create small dimensional differences that do not affect function.

What is not considered normal variation

Major cracks, broken pieces, unstable construction, sharp dangerous defects, materially incorrect dimensions, or a product that cannot perform its intended function should be reported to us.

Sets and repeat orders

We aim for visual consistency, but handmade pieces ordered at different times may come from different material or kiln batches. Exact color matching across separate orders cannot always be guaranteed.
